Investigating images shared without consent
Material circulated without your wanting it. We record what is there and where, and examine what can technically be said about it.
What we examine
- Where the material can currently be found, and on which accounts or services.
- What data remains inside the file itself, such as when it was taken and on what device.
- Whether the material has been edited or assembled.
- Whether the same material appears in several places and whether those are connected.
What you receive
A report recording what was found and where, with the date and time of recording.
An overview you can take to the police or your lawyer, so you do not have to gather it yourself.
The technical findings about the material itself, where there are any.
What we do not do
- We cannot have material removed from the internet. That runs through the services themselves or through a legal route.
- We cannot guarantee we find everything, nor that nothing new appears later.
- We approach nobody on your behalf.
Whatever else happens, recording comes before removing. Material deleted before it is recorded is no longer usable for an investigation.
