What we do
We set up a backup that sits outside your building and cannot be wiped from your own network. That last part is exactly what fails during an encryption.
Then we restore something from it. Not as a trial but as a standing arrangement, because a backup never restored is an assumption.
We agree with you how much you may lose and how quickly you must be running again. Those two numbers decide what is needed, not the other way round.
Nearly every company we speak to believes it is covered. About half turn out to have gaps nobody knew about.
