What we do
We set up outside access so only the people who need it get in, with a second step alongside the password.
Open ports created as a stopgap are closed, after we work out what they were for. Closing without looking takes companies offline.
When somebody leaves, we remove their access. It sounds obvious, and it is the most commonly missed step we come across.
We record who can reach what, so you can answer that question without having to think about it.
