Printer not working
A printer that will not print is often not a broken printer. Usually the connection is lost, or an update changed something.
What you notice
- It is switched on but does not react to a print job.
- Since a Windows update it is no longer found.
- Printing over Wi-Fi fails, but a cable works.
- It stopped after a cartridge was replaced.
- The job just sits in the queue.
What we do about it
We find where it gets stuck: at the computer, on the network, or at the printer. That saves you buying a new printer that develops the same problem.
We get it found again and keep it working, including after the next update. Often it is one setting in the wrong place.
If it works on one computer but not another, we set it up so everyone in the house or office can reach it.
