What we get asked about
- It has become very slow and the fan runs almost constantly.
- It gets hot in places it did not used to.
- The charger has stopped working.
- It will not start, or gets no further than the HP logo.
- Your HP printer is no longer found by the computer.
What we do
Slow and hot usually go together. With dust in the cooling, the machine throttles itself to avoid overheating. That is fixable, and it often makes more difference than people expect.
If it will not start, we work out where it goes wrong and secure your files first.
The printer is a different matter: there it is usually the connection or an update rather than the printer itself. We have a separate page about that.
We will look at it even when the machine is getting on. Sometimes it is a small thing, sometimes replacing is wiser. We will tell you honestly which.
