Packard Bell laptop broken
Packard Bell machines are fairly old by now. Which is often exactly why there is so much on them that was never put anywhere else.

- There are photos and letters on it going back years.

What we do
With these machines we start with the contents. Years of photos and paperwork are almost always worth more than the laptop itself.
We take the storage out and read it separately, even when the machine will not power on at all.
Then we tell you what can still be done with it. Usually that is: move it to something newer, and have the old one wiped properly.
Do not throw it out before the contents are off it. They can almost always still be saved.
