Keeping children safe online
Not locking everything down, but knowing what is there and where to set it.
What you notice
- You do not want your child reaching everything.
- There is still playing or watching at night.
- Something was bought in a game without you knowing.
- You want to know which apps are installed.
- Your child gets messages from people you do not know.
What we do about it
We set what suits the age: screen time, what may be installed, and whether purchases are possible. Without making the device useless, because then a child simply works around it.
We show you where to adjust it yourself. Children get older and those settings should grow with them; we do not need to come back each time.
If it is about unwanted contact or bullying, that is a different matter from settings. We have a separate page about investigation and preservation.
We prefer to talk with you and your child together. Settings made in secret rarely last.
