Connecting a second screen
Two screens is more comfortable than one, but only when it is set up properly.
What you notice
- The second screen stays black.
- The picture is the same on both screens instead of side by side.
- Windows keep opening on the wrong screen.
- Text is much smaller on one screen than the other.
- You do not know which cable you need.
What we do about it
Text differing in size between two screens comes from resolution and is one setting away. It is the complaint we hear most and the quickest to remove.
We also get the order right, so your mouse travels towards the screen that is actually there. It sounds minor and it saves irritation all day.

For working from home this is one of the smallest changes with the largest effect.
